silk1.gif Look closely in the middle of the box. You'll see about 100 eggs on a piece of wax paper just removed from the refrigerator.
silk2.gif Now the worms have hatched but they are about the size of an ant. The Mulberry leaf in the center has been cut into tiny pieces so the worms can eat.
silk3.gif The worms have now grown large. If you look closely you can see cocoons in some of the condos.
silk4.gif Closeup showing the way the worms eat the leaves. The black specks in the bottom of the box are worm droppings and need to be cleaned out often.
